Axel Vervoordt is pleased to participate in this year’s edition of BRAFA Art Fair, which will take place in Brussels Expo, Heysel, from Sunday, 28 January until Sunday, 4 February 2024. Daily from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Our presentation will include works of artists such as Pierre Alechinsky, Jef Verheyen & Englebert Van Anderlecht, Pierre Culot, Ida Barbarigo, Sadaharu Horio, and many others. These will be shown alongside mid-century modern design pieces, including a rare vinhático coffee table by Joaquim Tenreiro. Also included is a Khmer torso of a male deity, finely carved from sandstone in the Baphuon style (11th century A.D.), and an ancient Egyptian face from an anthropoid coffin in cedar, carbon-dated to 772 – 426 B.C.
