Sopheap Pich at the High Line, New York

新闻內容

Cambodian artist Sopheap Pich is known for his striking sculptures made from natural and repurposed materials like bamboo, rattan, and scrap metal. Deeply shaped by his experiences during the Khmer Rouge regime, his work explores themes of memory, identity, and displacement. For the High Line, Pich presents three copper and steel sculptures inspired by seedpods from rare Cambodian trees, reflecting on the fragility of nature and the lasting effects of social and environmental change.
