Performance of Angel Vergara in Marso, Madrid, February 12th 2026
新闻內容
On Thursday, February 12, at 7:00 p.m., MARSO Madrid presents a new performance by Ángel Vergara, as part of the ES/CENAS project, curated by Alexis Callado Estefanía, which proposes a careful approach to the boundaries between body, language, and perception.
Through the figure of Straatman, covered by a white sheet, Vergara activates an action in which gesture, presence, and sensory restriction generate a space for shared observation, where a canvas covered in charcoal is progressively transformed through the removal of material, allowing the image to emerge from the relationship between body, time, and collective attention.
The performance took place at MARSO Madrid, Calle San Mateo 17, and is part of a proposal that explores voices, gestures, and ideas, inviting the audience to participate through listening, silence, and direct experience.
This performance was realized in collaboration with the Wallonia Brussels General Delegation in Spain and the Wallonia Brussels Federation
