Axel Vervoordt Gallery is pleased to participate in the 40th anniversary edition of Art Brussels. Our presentation includes work by Peter Buggenhout, Kimsooja, Germaine Kruip, Jaffa Lam, Bosco Sodi, and Jef Verheyen. The artists demonstrate revealing and concealing visual and auditory perceptions, by giving material a second life, or by creating sensory experiences through the delicate application of materials and paint.
Installed outside the venue, a sculpture by Renato Nicolodi is shown as part of “Art in the City”. The curated exhibition in the Stibbe Lounge, Wandering Minds, consisting of artists featured in this year’s Venice Biennale, features two works by Kimsooja.
