Fair description

Axel Vervoordt Company is pleased to participate in Masterpiece Online 2021, which will take place from between 24 and 27 June, with a VIP Access on the 23rd.
For this edition, we have chosen to present a selection of turned wooden bowls by American woodturner Ed Miller (1928 - 2017).

Director Boris Vervoordt: “When I saw an Ed Miller bowl for the first time, it was immediately clear that this doctor-turned-woodturner shared aesthetic ideals with our company. A sense of timelessness, simplicity of form, and a deep respect for the innate beauty of natural materials. Miller succeeded, time and time again, in transforming a humble piece of wood into the most beautiful bowl it could become. Using a pure, formal language and expert craftsmanship, what matters is the beauty and simplicity of what’s present.”
