Frieze Masters 2021

The Regent's Park, London

Fair description

Axel Vervoordt is pleased to participate in Frieze Masters 2021, which takes place in London at the Regent's Park from October 14-17, with a VIP preview on the 13th.

For this anticipated return to in-person international art fairs, our presentation showcases a selection of exceptional works under the overarching theme of rediscovery. In the stand, two of our three spaces are dedicated to the life and oeuvre of the late Venetian-based artist Ida Barbarigo, accompanied by selected paintings by her husband Zoran Music.

“Frieze Week is an exciting time to be in London and participate in the best cultural events the city has to offer,” says Boris Vervoordt. “We are very grateful to be able return to Frieze Masters in person. It will be an incredible chance to experience the power of art in a visual and physical way that promises to be inspiring.”

Additional highlights include paintings and sculptures by important European and Asian post-war artists, such as Gotthard Graubner, Günther Uecker, Takis, César, Tsuyoshi Maekawa, Yun Hyong-keun and Chung Chang-Sup. An exquisite deliberation desk from the High Court of Chandigarh by Pierre Jeanneret is also presented.
