Perpetual Night, Lucile Richardot’s first solo album with Correspondances, was released in spring 2018 for Harmonia Mundi. Top of the classic sales in France, awarded with a Diapason d’Or of the year 2018, a Classica Choc, the German Critics’ Award and the Belgian Critics’ Award, this record reveals Lucile Richardot’s unclassifiable voice in a little known repertoire that prefigures the birth of English opera. The ensemble takes the contemporary challenge of creating a musical theatre show off the beaten track with the help of director Samuel Achache. Songs is created in the network of national stages and national drama centres where it brings some pearls of baroque music to the heart of the theatre audience.
