Axel Vervoordt is pleased to participate in Frieze Masters 2022, which takes place in London at The Regent’s Park from October 14 - 16, with VIP previews on October 12 - 13.
This year’s presentation includes works by Kazuo Shiraga, Shozo Shimamoto, Yuko Nasaka, Kimsooja, Chung Chang-Sup, Günther Uecker, Raimund Girke, Otto Piene, Jan Schoonhoven, George Rickey, and Zoran Mušič.
A quintessential highlight in our presentation is the South Arabian figure of a woman, exceptional not only by virtue of its quality, condition, and provenance, but also as a vivid testimonial of the cultural identity of the “caravan kingdoms”, which accumulated great wealth from interregional exchange, yet also managed to preserve their distinctive artistic traditions.
